P-26: Guidelines for Inspection and Repair of MC-330 and MC-331 Anhydrous Ammonia Cargo Tanks (formerly TB-2)

The DOT requires in 49 CFR that MC-330 and MC-331 anhydrous ammonia cargo tanks be internally inspected at certain prescribed intervals, and that cracks and other defects found during inspections must be repaired in accordance with requirements in 49 CFR if a cargo tank is to be returned to transportation service. The guidelines are for use by those responsible for inspecting and repairing MC-330 and MC-331 anhydrous ammonia cargo tanks.
