HB: Handbook of Compressed Gases

Abstract

CGA has modernized the CGA Handbook of Compressed Gases by transforming it into a fully virtual resource. The digital handbook currently features more than 70 gas monographs and more than 20 chapters.

Each monograph is organized alphabetically for quick navigation and includes key information such as chemical names, synonyms, CAS registry numbers, shipping and GHS classifications, physical properties, common uses, safety considerations, and disposal recommendations.

The chapters offer a broad overview of each industry topic, provide historical context, and enhance access to additional references and supporting materials.

Overall, the digital handbook delivers significantly improved search functionality, seamless movement between related topics, direct links to relevant CGA publications and external resources, and a more efficient framework for ongoing content updates.
